Inspire. Empower. Connect.
We believe in the transformative power of creativity and mentorship!
Every year, we reach over 75 at-promise Girls, offering them a supportive after-school program entirely free of charge. We're committed to nurturing their talents, dreams, and aspirations.
Research consistently highlights the profound impact of arts education on students' academic, emotional, and social well-being. At Tulsa Girls Art School, we witness firsthand how art elevates self-esteem, fosters a sense of belonging, and ignites hope for the future.
Sadly, access to arts programs in public schools is diminishing. Since 2007, we've been part of the solution, providing a decade of art instruction, mentorship, and enriching experiences for girls in Tulsa Public Schools.

The program is designed to support the emotional and creative development of girls, empowering them to reach their full potential and contribute positively to their communities.
Program Overview
Tulsa Girls Art School’s curriculum is designed to support Girls' development and empowerment through education, mentorship, and artistic expression. The program offers consistent studio classes as well as opportunities for travel and exposure to the world outside of their community. Financial incentives for art sales motivate and support the students in their artistic endeavors.
Key elements and benefits include:
10 Years: Girls can join Art School as early as 3rd grade and continue through high school, providing 10 years of engagement and growth.
Support: We provide safe transportation, healthy meals and snacks, art supplies and mentorship. These resources are crucial for ensuring that students can fully participate in Art School.
All-Girl Space: Creating a safe and consistent environment exclusively for girls allows them to prioritize their needs, express themselves freely, and build confidence without the pressures or distractions that may exist in co-ed spaces.
Consistency: Offering classes multiple times a week ensures consistent engagement and learning opportunities.
Art Shows: Through art shows, students not only showcase their creativity but also learn valuable skills such as communication, presentation, and entrepreneurship. The opportunity to sell their artwork provides a tangible way for students to see the value of their efforts and earn income.
Community Engagement: Engagement with prospective buyers not only enhance the students' artistic skills but also help them develop social and networking skills that are valuable for their future success.
